New In: Shoes, Clothes, aaaand bags! :D

Hello there, sweeties!
I am writing this post while lying almost helplessly in bed; my flu is incapacitating me to an annoying extent. >_< I wasn't able to attend my classes yesterday, and so as today's. Plus, I'll be having an exam on Monday, another on Tuesday, aaaand another one on Wednesday, and a Scrapbook project to be passed on Wednesday morning. Guess what? I haven't started on anything yet. I haven't, because I can't. Reeeeaally can't. I tried but I just couldn't focus. T__T

I'm taking my medicines quite religiously, but they don't seem to help. I think I should bug my dad to bring us (he's ill, too) to the hospital already; maybe this isn't just a Flu. ~_~

Anyway, since I am sick and not capable of actually shooting and editing some decent photos, I'll first feed you with my low-quality instagram shots. Mehehe.

These items came from my tita ninang (she resides in Seattle, WA), whom I already treated as my mom ever since, and even more when my biological mom left us for another guy. Oh well. Tita ninang really knows what tickles my fancy!

Hello, sweeties! If you had been observant enough, you would be aware that on the 11th of July, my blog will be celebrating its 7th month already. For those who know me personally, or at least know my whole name, you would know that '7 'means so much to me since it's mah name! (Fast Fact: My whole name is Marie Paige Seven Bautista ^_^ ). And thus, I decided that my blog's 7th month would be a nice time to conduct my second giveaway! :D

I've been going through a lot of hard times lately but I am very thankful that God has not forsaken me. He gave me a very supportive family and lots of thoughtful friends. They were the ones used by God as instruments to help me focus on the bright side and stay strong. :') In a few weeks, I was able to regain my SUNSHINY SELF (hence the abrupt change of my blog header to Petit Rayon de Soleil meaning "a little ray of sunshine"). And yes, I am so happy that I would like to share some of the "sunshine" with you guys!

FOREVER 21 Mini Haul

It was my first time to shop for cosmetics, and to shop for them at Forever21. So for starters, I just took some of the basics -- just so I could try them out. I also bought some nail care tools and an I-can't-resist-getting-it pair of sunnies. Here are photos of the items I got:

I've just read a post from Chictopia about the Top 5 Most Stylish Colors of the Year (see post HERE). Coincidentally, I was then browsing for clothes and stuff at the Forever21 website, too. "Soooo... Are you thinking what I'm thinking, B2?" Yes. I'm gonna make a post about my Forever21 picks using the Top 5 Most Stylish Colors of the year! :D

According to the Nordstrom Rack post on Chictopia,

"If spring 2011 was all about neon shades and flashy tones, for me 2012 means something a lot more different. After seeing Louis Vuitton’s SS12 collection or Jill Sander’s, I can only think about one thing: pastels. Mint, light ice cream pink, delicate butter yellow and romantic lavender. This is what about spring 2012 inspires me. It’s time to get primed and look like walking candy!"

Just recently, Forever21 has just released their PETAL METAL Trend Alert which featured pastel colors matched with metallics. I've seen really nice pieces from the collection, and so with this in mind, as I read the Chictopia Trend Alert, I immediately decided to pick some of my favorites and put them together in this blog post. :D

I challenge myself to make this post using Forever21 items only.
